Former Governor Hanson Scores 9 Points in Creighton Basketball Win

 OMAHA – Former South Dakota Mr. Basketball and 2 time player of the year Zach Hanson from Pierre made his collegiate basketball debut last night in helping Creighton to a season opening 107-61 win over Alcorn State before a sell out crowd at the Century Link Center in Omaha. Hanson played a total of 11 minutes in the victory scoring 9 points and pulling down 2 rebounds. Hanson was 3 of 4 from the floor and 3 of 4 from the free throw line in the game. The game, played before 17,740 was the 9th largest crowd in Creighton history and was the most attended game in the month of November in the history of Blue Jay basketball.
