PIERRE, S.D – Fans will be paying more out of thier pocket to watch ther favorite teams in the South Dakota Post Season playoffs. The South Dakota High School Activities Association Board of Directors voted to increase admission prices for substate and state championship games for single games last summer. Adults will be charged $7.00 per game and the student price to get into a game has been raised to $5.00. Pierre Athletic Director Dan Whalen, who is also a member of the board of the Activities Associaton says these new prices will be charged for every football, volleyball, wrestling and boys and girls basketball this season. He says that begins Thursday night with the Governors football playoff matchup with Brookings at Phil Traunter Stadium at Hollister Field. And he adds that no activity tickets will be allowed. Those are for regular season games only.
