WALL – The Stanley County Buffaloes found out the hard way what it’s like to play an undefeated team as they were beaten at Wall Thursday night, 49-8. The Eagles finished a perfect regular season as Lane Blasius ran for one score and threw for four more, all to Trevor Anderson. Blasius finished with 245 yards passing, but his most impressive stat may have been his completion percentage as he connected on 16 of 18 passes on the night. Anderson also threw an option pass to Tyler Peterson for a 28-yard touchdown, and Gage Sandal capped the scoring on a 58-yard gallop. The lone score for the Buffaloes came late on a 22-yard pass from Herman Fennell to Trey Montana. The Buffaloes finish the regular season with a 3-5 record, but will make the playoffs and appear to be heading to Gregory for a Class AA Region 4 first round game Tuesday night. Wall appears set to host Faith in the first round of the 9B playoffs. Official pairings will come out later Friday morning.
