FLAGSTAFF, Az.- Former Pierre Lady Governor all state goalkeeper Kristi Hestdalen continued her record breaking season at the University of North Dakota last weekend. Hestdalen who earlier this year broke the UND record for Saves in a College Career, recorded her 123rd save this season in a game at Northern Arizona University on Sunday breaking UND’s record for Saves in a Single Season. The previously record was 120 held by Monica Stieman. Hestdalen’s current save total is the 10th highest in the history of the Big Sky Conference and heading into last weekend was the fourth highest in all of Division 1 soccer this year. Hestdalen currently leads the Big Sky Conference in Saves, Saves per Game and recorded the highest save total in a single game when she recorded 14 saves while leading UND to a 3-1 victory over Eastern Washington. UND’s soccer season concludes next weekend when they UND hosts Idaho State and Weber State.
