SIOUX FALLS, S.D. – (DRG News) The Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives and the National Shooting Sports Foundation have joined to set up a reward for information that results in the arrest and conviction of those responsible for the theft of firearms from the Midwest Supply Store in Miller. About 24 long guns were stolen between 8:00 p.m. on September 27 and 8:00 a.m. on September 28 at Midwest Supply. ATF has announced in a news release that it is offering a $2,500 reward, which will be matched by the NSSF-for a total reward of $5,000. The reward is part of a larger national initiative in which the Shooting Sports Foundation matches ATF rewards in cases involving the theft of firearms from federally licensed firearms retailers. ATF, the Miller Police Department and South Dakota Division of Criminal Investigation are investigating the theft. Information offered on the case will be kept confidential and should be reported to the Sioux Falls ATF Office (605-782-8200), the Miller Police Department (605-853-2400) or South Dakota DCI.
