PIERRE, S.D. – (DRG News) The Pierre Police Department is reminding local residents that all boat trailers, homemade trailers, campers and other similar items should be removed from the City of Pierre streets within the next few days.  Pierre Police Captain Elton Blemaster says getting the trailers and campers from streets will help City of Pierre crews this winter when snow needs to be removed from streets.  The deadline to remove the trailers and campers from streets is Monday, October 21 and after that date, the patrol division will start marking the trailers for possible ticketing.
