PIERRE, S.D. – (DRG News) A Pierre man was arrested early this morning for at least three different charges. Pierre Police Captain Elton Blemaster says the man was stopped near the intersection of Dakota and Tyler Avenues about 12:40 a.m. Officers found that the 1995 Nissan Maxima that 21-year-old Robert Parkinson was driving had been reported stolen from a Chamberlain trucking company. Blemaster says Parkinson was arrested for DUI 1st, Driving Without a Valid License or Permit and Possession of a Stolen Vehicle and was taken to the Hughes County Jail.
