Gov JV Golfers Host Triangular

PIERRE, S.D. – The Pierre Governor Junior Varsity golf team hosted a triangular yesterday at Hillsview Golf Course.  No team points were kept.  Pierre’s Sam Edman had the best round of the day for the Gov JV’s finishing in 4th place with a round of 88, 10 strokes back of individual medalist Eric DeBoer of Aberdeen Central.  Aberdeen golfers captured 4 of the first 5 places.  Noah Miller had a 90 good for a 6th place finish.  J.R. Mayer was 7th with a 90 while Parker Pietz fired a 90 for a 9th place finish and Josh Albright was 10th with a 91.  Other Pierre scores included a 95 from Kade McTighe.  Thomas Pietz 101, Max Longman 104.  Carson McClelland 107.  Trey Dravland 117 and Alec Deis 139.  Mobridge-Pollock was the other team in the field.
