PIERRE, S.D. – (DRG News) A paving project started yesterday on Highway 14 west of Fort Pierre. The South Dakota Department of Transportation says the project spans a stretch of about one-half mile in length and is located four miles west of Fort Pierre. The existing concrete pavement is being removed and the highway section is to be repaved with asphalt. Traffic will be guided through the work area with flaggers and a pilot car and motorists may encounter delays while the project is underway. The overall completion date for the project is October 11.
