PIERRE, S.D. - (DRG News) Today kicks off 2013 Homecoming Week for Riggs High School. The theme for this year’s Homecoming is “School of Rock”. The theme for today’s dress up day is “Class Color”. Seniors are wearing black today, Juniors-red, Sophomores-yellow, Freshmen-pink and Teachers are wearing blue. The parade will start at 5:15 p.m. this afternoon starting at the Riggs High Parking Lot and after the parade; Govmobiles will be judged on Pierre Street by the Historic Pierre Street Association. After judging, a dinner will be held for Royalty Candidates in the basement of the Karcher/Tibbs building-sponsored by the Historic Pierre Street Association. Tomorrow brings coronation and a pep rally in the theater starting at 7:30 p.m., followed by the burning of the letters.
