PIERRE, S.D. – (DRG News) A blood drive for South Dakota State Employees will be held in Pierre today. Organizers say that all available slots have been filled for the blood drive but are advising those that signed up that the event has been moved to a different location. Abbie Titze, Donor Recruiter for the United Blood Services in Mitchell says the blood drive was originally set to be held at the Capitol Lake Visitors Center, but has now been moved to the Lutheran Memorial Church-across from the Capitol. Those who could not make an appointment for today’s blood drive who still want to donate can do so at the next blood drive on September 30. The Oahe Incorporated blood drive will be held at the Legion Cabin that day from 11:00 to 1:45 p.m. For more information, call Jodi Roy at 224-4501.
