Lady Gov Tennis Finishes 6th in Rapid City Tournament

 RAPID CITY, S.D. – After losing their dual to Sioux Falls O’Gorman on Friday, the Pierre Lady Governor tennis team had a 6th place finish in the Rapid City Invitational Tennis tournament that wrapped up Saturday in Rapid City.   The Lady Govs number 1 singles player, Eileen Leong had the best finish of the tournament for the Lady Govs as she placed third.  Brianna Dufour at number 6 singles was …

SDSU Soccer Plays to Scoreless Draw

   SAN ANTONIO, Texas – The South Dakota State women’s soccer team closed out the UTSA Tournament with a scoreless tie against Sam Houston State. As a team the Jackrabbits tallied 27 shots, 12 of those were on goal. The last time SDSU recorded 27 shots in a game was back in 2010.   PIERRE, S.D. – The Pierre Lady Governor volleyball dropped their second match of the season Saturday losing to Rapid City Central 3-0 at Riggs High Gym.   BROOKINGS, S.D. — Sixth-ranked South Dakota State scored 34 consecutive points and the Jackrabbit offense rolled up 546 yards of total offense en route to a 55-14 season-opening victory over Butler (Ind.)
