ABERDEEN, S.D. – (DRG News) The National Weather Service says above normal temperatures will remain in the forecast for the next few days. Amy Parkin with the National Weather Service in Aberdeen says high temperatures for the rest of the work week and into the weekend will be at least 10 to 15 degrees above average. She says by early next week, high temperatures will begin to drop a bit.
The past few days have brought Heat Advisories to the area. Parkin says conditions for today don’t look like they will warrant issuing an advisory for the day.
Parkin says usually, average highs at this time of the year in Central parts of the state are in the mid 80’s.
