SDSU Loses Soccer Match on Sunday

BROOKINGS, S.D. – The South Dakota State women’s soccer team lost in overtime 2-1 to Loyola (Ill.) on Sunday afternoon. Alyssa Brazil scored the lone goal for the Jackrabbits.  The Jacks outshot the Ramblers 20-10.  SDSU falls to 0-2-0 on the season, while Loyola improves to 1-0-1 overall.  The Jackrabbits will now pack their bags as they head to San Antonio, Texas to compete in the UTSA Tournament. SDSU will play Lamar on Friday at 4 p.m. and Sam Houston State on Sunday at 10:30 a.m.
