Central SD Golfers Preparing to Play in State Amatuer Championships

SIOUX FALLS, S.D. – The South Dakota Golf Association will be holding it’s State Mens Amatuer and Womens State Amatuer golf tournaments this weekend in Sioux Falls.  The 43rd Men’s Amatuer Championship will be golfed at the Prarie Green Golf Course in Sioux Falls with several central South Dakota golfers entered in the 54 hole tournament.  Colman Caldwell of Chamberlain, Dak Carly of Philip, Micheal Keaton of Pierre and Tommy Anderson are entered in the tournament.  The 51st Womens Amateur Championship will be played at the Fox Run Golf Course in Sioux Falls where Hallie Getz of Pierre is entered in the tournament.  The 37th Womens Senior State Golf Tournament will also be golfed at Fox Run.  The 37th annual Womens Senior tournament is a 36 hole afair while the Women’s Championship is 54.
