SIOUX FALLS, S.D. – University of Sioux Falls Athletic Director Kevin Hesser has named Brett Bennett and Ty Dannenbring as co-head coaches for the USF men’s and women’s golf teams. Bennett and Dannenbring will take over from Jenny Coluccio, who coached both the Cougar men’s and women’s golf squads for the past three seasons. Coluccio was recently hired as the assistant women’s golf coach at the University of Illinois.  Bennett comes to USF after spending time working at both Westward Ho Country Club and the Todd Kolb Golf Academy in Sioux Falls.  He is a 2009 graduate of the University of South Dakota.  Dannenbring played collegiately at Lenoir-Rhyne University (N.C.) and served as team captain his senior season. He received his MBA from Lenoir-Rhyne in 2012 and has spent the last two seasons as the middle school golf coach at Hickory Christian Academy in North Carolina.  Bennett and Dannenbring will take over a men’s team that finished third in their first season of NSIC play, while the women took fourth overall.
