PIERRE, S.D. – The Oahe Softball Complex in Pierre will play host to the South Dakota Men’s Class A and B Slowpitch State Softball tournament tomorrow and Sunday. There are 10 teams in the “A” Division tournament and 20 in the “B” Division tournament. Tournament Organizer Paul Schriener says the 30 teams will be competing in the tournament with 10 of them in Class A and 20 in Class B. Schriener says numbers of teams are back up to numbers that Pierre saw prior to 2011 when the Missouri River Flood shut down the Oahe Complex. Schriener says some exceptional athletes will be playing this weekend in Pierre. There is no admission for fans to the tournament.
