PIERRE, S.D. – (DRG News) Lt. Governor Matt Michels has been re-elected to serve on the National Lieutenant Governors Association’s (NLGA) leadership committee. NLGA is an association that works with Lt. Governors in all 50 states and U.S. territories. Michels serves as Midwest Region Republican Representative on the NLGA Executive Committee. He was first chosen to be on the committee in 2011. The leadership committee meets about three times annually and lays out a course of issues and training that Lt. Governors will pursue. Committee members also address issues of mutual concern to all members. NLGA is a bi-partisan organization that has been in existence for about 50 years.
