PIERRE, S.D. – (DRG News) A Pierre man was arrested Friday night on at least four charges for an incident reported at a Pierre home earlier in the day.  Pierre Police Captain Elton Blemaster says officers were called early Friday morning to a residence in the 100 block of South Taylor Avenue.  Blemaster says officers were told a man had entered an unlocked home, went into a room, brandished a knife and threatened to stab two people in the home.  He says a 25-year-old female reportedly confronted the suspect and she received a cut wound.  An ambulance was called to the home to treat the woman.  Also present was the woman’s 28-year-old boyfriend.  Blemaster says the man with the knife fled and was not located until Friday night about 9:15 p.m.  Arrested without incident in the 300 block of South Poplar was 30-year-old Michael Roy.  He was taken into custody for one count of Aggravated Assault-Domestic, one count of Aggravated Assault, one count of First Degree Burglary and one count of Violation of a Protection Order.
