Delta Dental of South Dakota Contributes Nearly $90,000 to Nonprofits Across SD

PIERRE, S.D. – (DRG News) Delta Dental celebrated its 50th anniversary by providing $1,000 to its employees and board members and in return; each one gave their funds to the nonprofit organization of their choice.  Nearly $90,000 was handed out through the project called “We Give” to 68 nonprofit organizations, including 23 in the Pierre and Fort Pierre area.  Delta Dental of South Dakota President and CEO, Scott Jones says in a press release that Delta Dental believes “We Give” is a wonderful way for the organization to celebrate employees’ hard work, dedication and generous spirit.  Several local employees chose to give their funds to the Countryside Hospice and Memory Center in Pierre.  Just a few of the many other Pierre and Fort Pierre non-profits that received donations through “We Give” included Oahe Inc., Feeding South Dakota, American Cancer Society, South Dakota Discovery Center, Capital City Children’s Choir, Fort Pierre Fire Department and the Oahe Hockey Association.
