Former Clark Golfer Turns Pro

UNDATED РIt has been an exciting week for Kim Kaufman of Clark. The Texas Tech senior golfer recently was named a first team Division I academic All-American. Kaufman has a 4.0 grade-poinaverage as a political science major. And she is the latest South Dakota athlete to turn pro in the sport she loves. Kaufman, who is a former South Dakota state champion golfer from Clark High School and on the SDGA Womens golf tour, will make her debut on the Symetra Tour starting Friday at the $100,000, 54-hole Decatur-Forsyth Classic in Decatur, Ill. The Symetra Tour, formerly known as the Futures Tour, is the official developmental circuit of the LPGA.
