LUDLOW, S.D. (AP) – The crash of a crop-spraying plane in western South Dakota has killed the pilot.
The Harding County Sheriff’s Office tells KELO-TV that the plane went down just east of Ludlow shortly after 7 p.m. Thursday.
The Dewey County Sheriff’s Office identified the pilot as Doug Kraft, of Timber Lake. He died at the scene.
The Federal Aviation Administration will investigate the crash.
