KGFX Hometown Tour Series Kicks Off 7th Year with a Stop June 12 in Philip!

PHILIP, S.D. – (DRG News) KGFX will soon begin what will be the 7th year of the KGFX Hometown Tour series.  We’ll kick off this year’s schedule on Wednesday, June 12 with a trip to Philip.  Join KGFX”s Skipper T and Jeri Thomas for an hour-long program based in the courtyard at Philip Health Services which will focus the many things that are happening in Philip.   We’ll talk with Brit Miller on the upcoming Scotty Philip Days; Brandon West will join us to offer details on the Matched Bronc Ride; Amy Moses has the latest news from the Gem Theatre and we’ll learn about upcoming fundraisers at the Haakon County Library from Jennifer Henrie.   We’ll also hear from Bobby Sloat about the Philip Swim 4 Life Scholarship; Jenny Terkildsen will talk about the Haakon County Young Women’s Summer Fun Night Event; Fire Chief Matt Reckling will discuss some new department equipment and Trisha Larson will bring information about the proposed walk/bike trail in Philip.  It’s the premier broadcast of the 2013 KGFX Hometown Tour series, from Philip Health Services on June 12 starting at 8:05 a.m. Mountain Time.  Our show is brought to you by Ravellette Publications, Philip Motor, Kennedy Implement, First National Bank, First National Agency, Philip Chamber of Commerce and Midwest Cooperatives.   We hope you can join us!!
