USF Pole Vaulter Earns NSIC Season Ending Award

BURNSVILLE, Minn. – University of Sioux Falls freshman Scott Greenman has been named the Newcomer of the Year in the Northern Sun Intercollegiate Conference year end track and field awards.  Greenman was conference champion in the pole vault with his school-record leap of 16-8.75 (5.10m) which is an NCAA provisional mark.  Minnesota State-Makato’s Tandy Juell is the Field Athlete of the Year in the NSIC while teammate Jarrell Hancock is the Track Athlete of the Year.  Minnesota State Moorhead’s Derek Bredy is the High Point Performer for the conference’s outdoor meet and Minnesota State Mankato head coach Mark Schuck is the Coach of the Year.  For the NSIC Women, Minnesota Duluth’s Chanel Miller is the High Point Performer of the Year.  Melissa Agnew is the Track Athlete of the Year while teammate Brittney McKinley is the Newcomer of the Year and Mary head coach Mike Thorson is the Women’s Coach of the Year in the NSIC.
