SDSU Basketball Team Members and Coaches Travel to Haiti

BROOKINGS, S.D. – The South Dakota State head men’s basketball Scott Nagy, along with a group of men’s basketball coaches and student-athletes, left Brookings on Wednesday for a weeklong trip to Haiti, where they plan on distributing shoes and putting on a basketball clinic in conjunction with Samaritan’s Feet.  The group, which also includes SDSU Athletic staff members and members of the community, were expected to arrive in Haiti late Wednesday and plans to get right to work first thing on Thursday with a food distribution, shoe distributions, a visit to an orphanage and a free basketball clinic all planned for later in the week.
