Rapid City Central Names New Head Volleyball Coach

RAPID CITY, S.D. – Amber Lashbrook has been named head volleyball coach at Rapid City Central High School. Lashbrook has served as an assistant for the Cobblers for the past two seasons. Prior to coming to Central, Lashbrook led Boyd Buchanan High School of Chattanooga, Tenn., to the 2009 Tennessee Class A state volleyball championship and a 2010 Tennessee Class A state volleyball runner-up finish. A graduate of Black Hills State University, Lashbrook served as a team captain and was named MVP of the Yellow Jacket volleyball team. Lashbrook replaces Shelly Wolfe, who retired last December.
