MILLER, S.D. – Stanley County scored 34 points in the girls division for a 8th place finish and 22 points in the boys division for a 12th place finish at the Wolsey-Wessington Invitational Track and Field meet held yesterday in Miller. Kelsey VanDenHemmel had a 3rd place finish in the 800 meter run and Cheyenne Watley finished 6th for the Lady Buffalos while VanDenHemmel also had a 6th place finish in the 400 meters. Kady Nielsen also placed twice for the Lady Buffalos with a 6th place finish in the 100 meter dash and 8th in the 200 meters. Cody Rykman had a 7th place finish in the 100 meters. On the boys side of the track, Shane Kramme had a 5th place finish in the 1600 meter run while Brevin Klemann finished 7th. Michael Scott also placed sixth in the 800, while Colton Drageset took seventh in the 400. And the Buffalo 3200 relay team had a 4th place finish for the Buffalo place winners. Stanley County will be back in action Thursday when they take part in the Miller Invitational, which starts at 11 a.m.
