Common Sense Parenting Program


Growing Up Together is pleased to announce the upcoming Common Sense Parenting Program starting on April 30, 2013. The program will be held on Tuesday’s for six consecutive weeks at Avera St. Mary’s Hospital (Cafeteria Conference Room), 800 E. Dakota Avenue. The dates of each class are April 30, May 7, 14, 21, 29, June 4, 2013 from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m.

Common Sense Parenting is a very effective and empowering parent education tool. This program is ideal for parents, grandparents or caregivers with children age three to adolescence who would like to enhance their parenting skills. The program is a proven, step-by-step guide for raising responsible children and provides skills to help parents build strong, healthy families.

The cost of the class is $30.00 and the Common Sense Parenting Book can be purchased for $15.00. Scholarships are available to cover these costs to anyone who needs one.
