RAPID CITY, S.D. – Scott Hagen is the new head football coach at Rapid City Stevens High School. The longtime Sisseton High School football coach will make the move up a class and across the state as he takes over a Raider program that failed to win a game last season. Hagen replaces Paul Ferdinand, who had been with the Stevens football program for more than 20 years, including the last five as head coach. Ferdinand was 16-35 as the head coach, including 0-9 this past season. Hagen, who is currently the head track and field coach at Sisseton, coached the Redmen football program for 15 seasons until 2011, compiling a 92-52 record. He won four conference championships and three region 1A titles.
