ELMHURST, Ill. — South Dakota State University baseball players Stephen Bougher and Daniel Telford have been honored by The Summit League for their efforts in leading the Jackrabbits to three victories this past weekend. Bougher was named co-Summit League Pitcher of the Week after hurling a three-hit shutout April 14 at Oakland. The right-hander scattered three singles, while walking one and striking out three in recording his second shutout of the season and fifth of his career. Bougher, who shared the honor with Fort Wayne’s Jason Kalber, improved to 4-1 on the season. Telford was selected as Summit League Player of the Week for the second time in three weeks after batting .700 (7-for-10) with eight runs batted in over two games.
