South Dakota Governor’s Office Seeks Interns

PIERRE, S.D. (AP) – Gov. Dennis Daugaard is inviting people to apply for fall 2013 governor’s office internships in Pierre.
The paid positions run from early September through December. Interns get to learn about state government and prepare legislation to be introduced in the next session.
Interns’ duties depend on interests and strengths. Typical duties include aiding the governor’s general counsel, conducting policy research and preparing policy briefings.
Preference is given to South Dakota residents attending South Dakota colleges or universities.
Interested students should submit a resume, cover letter and two recommendation letters by email to by June 1.
