The Fort Pierre Train Depot arrived back in Fort Pierre on March 19, 2013 after a 165 mile trip from a Mud Butte ranch that started March 14.  The depot was moved from Fort Pierre to the ranch in the 1960′s after it was sold as surplus.  The rancher, Shirley Miller agreed to give the building back to the community and a committee has been working to return the depot to town for the past few years.  Seen here is a raw video of the depot coming from Sale Barn Road onto Highway 83-and being pulled to the location where a new foundation awaits it.
