FORT PIERRE, S.D. – (DRG News) Two teen girls from Pierre received only minor injuries in a one vehicle rollover that happened on Bad River Road Sunday evening. Stanley County Chief Deputy Sheriff Greg Swanson says the accident occurred last night about three miles down Bad River Road from Highway 83. The two 14-year-olds were traveling westbound in a 1998 Ford Explorer SUV when the driver over-corrected on the gravel road and the vehicle rolled into the south ditch. Swanson says the two were wearing seat-belts and were taken to Avera St. Mary’s Healthcare Center to be treated for minor injuries. No citations were issued in the accident.
