President’s Day Holiday Being Noted Today

Presidents Washington and Lincoln for Presidents Day


PIERRE, S.D. – (DRG News) Today is President’s Day and several entities are closed in honor of the holiday.  There is no school today and state government employees and federal workers have the day off, among others.  Rawlins Library is closed today, but it will reopen tomorrow at 10:00 a.m.  In addition, the Hughes County Courthouse and other courthouses will be closed for the day.

Also today, the Pierre/Fort Pierre Exchange Club is noting the holiday with a posting of U.S. and S.D. flags.  The flags are flying along the Missouri River Bridge to honor today’s President’s Day.  Today’s flag display is sponsored by the American State Bank.
