Trial Date Set for Man Charged with Break-in at Pierre Business

PIERRE, S.D. – (DRG News) An April trial date has been set for a Fort Pierre man who pleaded not guilty to burglary and grand theft charges.  26-year-old Joshua Link was indicted for felony charges of Third Degree Burglary and Grand Theft and in addition, faces a misdemeanor charge of Intentional Damage to Property.  He was arrested in December after a burglary was reported at the Fresh Start Convenience Store at Sioux and Central Avenues.  He entered a not guilty plea to the charges in his case in January.  In court yesterday, a trial date was set in Link’s case for April 11 and 12.  Jury selection will begin at 9:00 a.m. on the morning of the 11th.  Link is being held on bond of $5,000 cash or surety.
