Wagner Becomes All Time Capitals Points Leader in Win Over Sioux Falls




 PIERRE, S.D. РThe Pierre-Ft. Pierre Capitals Boys Varsity Hockey team bounced back on Saturday after a 6-5 loss to Sioux Falls on Friday. The Capitals controlled the game from start to finish as they downed the Flyers 4-1 in a state high school hockey league matchup at the EXPO Center in Ft. Pierre. Austin Wagner had a game he will remember as he had two goals and an assist to become the All Time Points leader in Capitals Hockey history surpassing Matt Farris. Wagner assisted on a goal by Cash Anderson in the first period and scored twice in the third period to give the Capitals the victory. Brandon Swenson scored what proved to be the game winner in the second period. Kyle Mammenga made 17 saves in goal for the Capitals who outshot Sioux Falls 33-19.
