Pierre Woman Arrested for Grand Theft and Other Charges Early Today

PIERRE, S.D. – (DRG News) A Pierre woman was arrested early this morning after a vehicle was reported stolen from a location on East Wells Avenue.  Pierre Police Captain Elton Blemaster says that a 1995 Chevrolet pickup was stolen from the 700 block of East Wells sometime this morning.  It was seen by officers a short time later.  Officers stopped the vehicle near the intersection of Highland Avenue and Oak Street around 2:45 a.m.  Arrested was 22-year-old Priscilla Lee.  Blemaster says she was taken into custody for Driving Without a Valid License or Permit, DUI 1st and Grand Theft.
