BROOKINGS, S.D. – The Summit League named South Dakota State point guard Nate Wolters the men’s basketball player of the week on Monday, after the senior led the Jackrabbits to a pair of league road wins at Western Illinois and at IUPUI. Wolters earned his 12th career award and fourth this season after leading his team to a pair of victories, including a win at first-place Western Illinois. In a rematch of last year’s Summit League Championship Game, Wolters led all scorers with 22 points while adding six assists, five rebounds and three steals to hand WIU its first league loss and snap an 11-game win streak.
