PIERRE, S.D. (AP) – Gov. Dennis Daugaard is inviting South Dakota business leaders to join him on another trade mission to China.
The Governor’s Office of Economic Development says the trip is scheduled for April 4-12. Daugaard led a similar trade mission last spring. He says one of the focuses of his administration is increasing South Dakota’s exports, and there is tremendous potential in China.
Economic Development Commissioner Pat Costello and state Agriculture Secretary Walt Bones also will be part of the trade mission. Representatives of up to 15 companies also will be selected to participate.
