MURDO, S.D – The pairings have been set for the 45th annual Jones County Invitational Boys Basketball tournament that will be played January 10th, 11th and 12th at the Murdo Auditorium.  The 8 team tournament will have 7 time defending champion White River opening play at 1 pm against Kadoka Area followed at 2:30 pm by Bennett County meeting Colome.  At 6:30 pm Lyman will play Philip and the final game of the first day at 8 pm will have the host Jones County taking on Stanley County.  4 games will be played on Friday and 4 on Saturday with the championship game scheduled for 8 pm Saturday evening.  The Pete Kerns Award along with the All Tournament first and second teams and tournament MVP award will be handed out and a new cheerleading award called the Muriel Huber Memorial Cheer Award will be given out this year.  Session times all 3 days will begin at 1 pm and 6:30 pm with Door opening to the fans 45 minutes before the start of each individual session.
