Fort Pierre Man Arrested Wednesday for Pierre Burglary




PIERRE, S.D. – (DRG News)  A Fort Pierre man was arrested on Wednesday after authorities executed a search warrant at a Fort Pierre home.  Pierre Police Captain Elton Blemaster says that Pierre officers were joined by the Stanley County Sheriff’s Office in searching a home in the 300 block of West Park in Fort Pierre.  Arrested at that location was 26-year-old Joshua Link.  Blemaster says Link was charged with Third Degree Burglary, Grand Theft (Over $1,000) and Intentional Damage to Property (Less Than $400).  Link’s arrest is the result of a Burglary that occurred early on the morning of December 8 at the Fresh Start Convenience Store at the corner of Sioux and Central Avenues.  After Link’s arrest Wednesday, he was taken to the Hughes County Jail.
