HURON, S.D. – Drew Leif scored two goals and Cash Anderson had two assists as the Pierre-Ft. Pierre Capitals varsity boys hockey team recorded a 3-0 shutout of Huron in high school hockey league play last night in Huron. Lief scored the first goal of the game at 4:49 mark of the first period and added another one in the second period after Austin Wagner had given the Capitals a 2-0 lead. Kyle Mammenga recorded the shutout in goal with 23 saves for the Capitals. Pierre put a total of 33 shots on goal netting 3 of them. The win evened the Capitals high school league record at 2-2 as they face Huron once again tonight in Huron at 7:30 pm.
