Eagle Butte Man Pleads Guilty to Burglary of Timber Lake Café

PIERRE, S.D. – (DRG News) An Eagle Butte man appeared in federal court yesterday and pled guilty to a charge of Third Degree Burglary.  18-year-old Shace Looking Horse will be sentenced for his plea in February.  U.S. Attorney Brendan Johnson says that Looking Horse and two other individuals went to the Chatter Box Corner Café inTimberLakeon June 7 and gained entry to the closed business by using a fence stretcher to break a window.  Looking Horse aided and abetted the burglary by helping others enter the business and by takingU.S.currency and other items.  Looking Horse will be sentenced February 4 and could be given as many as ten years in prison, be ordered to pay a $250,000 or both.  Looking Horse was released on bond until his sentencing hearing.
