SIOUX FALLS, S.D. (AP) – South Dakota Secretary of State Jason Gant says his office has received complaints about mailings by a political action committee that gave voters incorrect information about polling sites for Tuesday’s general election.
Gant is urging residents to beware of the mailings. He says people who are unsure of where to vote can find a list of polling sites online. They also can contact a county auditor’s office.
Gant says the Every Vote Counts PAC sent out the mailings. Democratic Party Chairman Ben Nesselhuf says officials are trying to contact voters who got incorrect information on polling sites.
