HARROLD, S.D. – (DRG News) South Dakota Pulse Processors is continuing with a series of investor meetings in the state-and plans a stop tonight in Fort Pierre. Meetings started in September with the schedule including stops in Selby, Harrold, Oacoma, Pierre, Winner, Highmore, Gettysburg, Onida, Timber Lake and Philip. This month, meetings have been held in eastern South Dakota. This afternoon, Pulse Processors will stop in Mitchell and this evening, there will be a meeting in Fort Pierre-starting at 7:00 p.m. SDPP plans to build and operate a five metric ton per hour processing plant in Harrold early next year and says it will be able to process the 2013 South Dakota pulse crop. The company intends to purchase lentils, peas, chickpeas and beans from farmers in the state. The new 5,500 square foot plant will clean, size, polish, color-sort, split, mill and package the crops. SDPP says it anticipates exporting about 60% of its product to international markets. Tonight’s investor meeting will be held at the AmericInn in Fort Pierre.
