PIERRE, S.D. – (DRG News) Youngsters who attend the Boys and Girls Club of the Capital Area now have new equipment to use, thanks to a purchase made possible through the 2012 Turner Grant Fund. The Boys and Girls Club used $3,460 to purchase a smart board, a set of wireless game buzzers, five cameras and one video camera for the club’s tech room. Boys and Girls club members can now work in larger groups on educational activities using the new equipment in the iClub. Club Executive Director Becky Bowers says thanks to the new items; club members will be able to take part in the National Boys and Girls Club of America Digital Arts Festival, Clay Tech, Skill Tech I & II and other programs.
