Eagle Butte Teen to be Arraigned Next Month on Two Grand Theft Charges

PIERRE, S.D. – (DRG News) An Eagle Butte teen will appear in court next month after being indicted yesterday on two counts of Grand Theft. 18-year-old Judson Two Dogs was arrested after a single vehicle accident last month east of Pierre. Officials said he was driving a pickup that was involved in a rollover September 20. It was later determined the vehicle had been stolen. Two Dogs was thrown from the vehicle and was hospitalized after the accident. He was jailed a few days later. In court yesterday, Two Dogs was advised that a Grand Jury has leveled a charge of Grand Theft-alleging that he stole the pickup and a second Grand Theft charge relates to a stolen scooter. Both charges are Class 4 felonies and each one carries a ten year prison sentence. Two Dogs was released on a personal recognizance bond and will be arraigned on November 6.
