ABERDEEN, S.D. – The Pierre Lady Governors still have not defeated a ESD Conference opponent this volleyball season. The Lady Govs reached the halfway mark of their season last night by dropped a 3 game sweep to 2nd ranked Aberdeen Central by scores of 25-12, 25-11, 25-19. Kaitlin Severyn had 6 kills and Whitney DeMoss 5 to lead the Lady Gov offensive effort but they were no match for the Golden Eagles who got 10 kills each from Amber Tobin and Lauren McCafferty while Samantha Knecht and Caitlin Rasmussen had 6 apeice. The Golden Eagles also had 14 Service Aces to just 1 for the Lady Govs. Pierre fell to 0-7 in Conference play and 3 and 7 overall. Pierre will host Sioux Falls Washington on Saturday for their next action.
