NWS Says Pierre and Kennebec Tied Record Lows Early Monday



ABERDEEN, S.D. – (DRG News) The National Weather Service says record low temperatures were tied at Pierre and Kennebec Monday. The thermometer dropped to 45 degrees early Monday at Kennebec which tied the old record low of 45 set in 1917. In Pierre, the temperature was at 48 yesterday, which matched the old record of 48 set in 1975.
