SD Asks Flags be Half-Staff for Shooting Victims

U.S. Flag

PIERRE, S.D. (AP) – Gov. Dennis Daugaard is asking that all flags in South Dakota be flown at half-staff from a.m. until sunset through Friday in respect for victims of the mass shooting at Oak Creek, Wisconsin.
Daugaard noted that President Barack Obama ordered all flags be lowered to half-staff at all public buildings and grounds and at all military facilities out of respect for those killed and injured in Sunday’s attack.
Six people were killed and three were critically wounded in the shooting.
